Ardee welcomed Woodview Celtic to Townparks on Saturday for first home game of the season. The Ardee lads showed their intent from the very first whistle and played some excellent football throughout the first half. However, it was Woodview who broke the deadlock against play. The home side had chances to level and the Dundalk side had chances to extend their lead. Robert Bagnall and Byron Fay narrowly missed and Jonah was excellent in goals. The game was end to end with both sides attacking at every opportunity

The second half saw Woodview double their lead and more and more chances fell their way. Despite the away sides goal advantage, the hosts kept their head high and continued to look dangerous on the break though and in the end put in a great performance.
